‘WHEN WORDS FAIL, MUSIC SPEAKS’
Hans Christian Anderson

Joey Gonzalez is a second generation artist and performer. Music was a staple growing up and provided the soundtrack for an explorative  young life. Influenced by a vast variety of artists such as the magnetic personality of Elvis, arena rock giants Journey & Bon Jovi along with R & B staples such as Sam Cooke and Babyface. Music was about connection and genres did not matter. What was valuable since the beginning

was how the music enhanced the experiences of life.

Raised by a single mother who herself was an aspiring theatre performer and operatic artist in her youth. Joey’s father had a professional operatic career that spanned 60 years.

Music and performing is rooted deep in Joey's core.
